Merkinch Technology Centre is a trading subsidiary of Merkinch Enterprise Ltd. (ME), a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. Founded in 1995, Merkinch Technology Centre has been set up to provide comprehensive and professional services in technology, training and research sectors.
Our organisation is devised to meet public demand with quality and affordable service, as well as working alongside the remit of Merkinch Enterprise. Our team of highly trained staff combine business experience and Information technology skills to provide comprehensive solutions to your business needs.

Colin Downie Colin is the Chief Executive of Merkinch Enterprise, a community based business operating as an umbrella organisation that includes such diverse activities as the Merkinch Technology Centre, two IT Training centres, a full day and out of school care childcare centre (Fliperz) and the production of a community newsletter, the Merkinch News & Views. He is a member of the Market Research Society and the Institute for Supervision and Management. |

Martin McLauchlan Martin is our IT Training and Development Officer. Originally from North London, Martin is well qualified for the job. He taught at Newcastle University for 24 years and has a degree in Computing Science. He is a member of the British Computer Society and a Chartered Engineer. |

Rhonda Philip Rhonda recently joined us earlier this year. She has 15 years experience of management and training. |

Russell Harper Russell provides IT support within the Centre whilst being responsible for the web design and development of all sites created by the organisation. He has over 15 years of experience with computer technology, programming, database design, graphical design and knowledge of many applications. |

Lorna McAllister Lorna is our Receptionist and Core Administrator for Merkinch Enterprise and Merkinch Technology Centre. Her key responsibilities include working on company business and administrative services and dealing with public requests over the phone and in office. She gained an MA in History and American Studies at Dundee University before returning to Inverness and has experience working within the public and tourism sector. |

Stephanie Sturrock Stephanie assists in daily operations of MTC and works alongside our Administration Assistant, helping with administration, public work and customer care. |
