Hello and goodbye at ME
IT’S
time to say goodbye again – and hello – at Merkinch Enterprise as two staff
members move on and are replaced by new faces.

It’s
welcome aboard to our new Training Officer GORDON NAIRNE (28). An
Inverness man, he currently lives in the Raigmore area. Gordon’s special
interest in computers began when he trained with the late lamented Jet 2000.
After studying there he stayed on as a tutor until it closed last year. After
working for a short time at Inverness College Gordon successfully applied for
the vacancy left by the departure of Mike Jamieson. Gordon
says, “I am looking forward very much to working at Merkinch Enterprise –
it’s a very worthwhile organisation.” |

MIKE
JAMIESON (43) had been with Merkinch Enterprise since November 1999. He is now
returning to Inverness College where he worked previously. “I am very grateful
for the opportunity to work as a community trainer,” he said. “It has been a
very interesting experience.” KOLETTE
FRASER (31), who leaves in mid-April, has been at Fliperz for five years, rising
from volunteer to Daycare Manager. She is going to the Out-of-School Care
Federation. Her successor has not yet been appointed. |
