HOPES are high that Elsie Normington, who has done such sterling work organising activities for older people in Merkinch over the last couple of years, will be able to stay on. Last month the Community Centre received funding from Highland Region’s social work department for an activities development worker at Coronation Park, but at time of going to press it was not yet known if it would be Elsie that would be fulfilling the role.
