Ever thought of jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet, or white water rafting in the spring rapids? Well, if your answer is yes, then you just might be the person that The Marie Curie Cancer Care are looking for.

The charity, which has a nationwide network of nurses caring for over 2000 patients in the comfort of their own homes, are calling on hundreds of adventurous people to partake in a range of exciting thrills and spills to help raise much-needed funds. No experience is required as all training is given and if you raise the minimum amount of sponsorship, you will be able to take part for free.

There are two types of jumps available - a "Tandem Skydive" from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor and a "Static Line" jump which is performed solo from up to 3000 feet. For the white water rafting, teams of 7 or 8 people are required to raise the minimum amount.

Highlands Co-ordinator Alison Cameron said "If anyone would like to help support Marie Curie Cancer by doing something like this, please give me a call. We also accept any old money that has now gone out of circulation, or any of your old lira, pesetas etc, that you may have left over from your holidays."

You can call Alison on 01349 864374.
