THE exotic colours and sounds of the Far East are coming to Merkinch this month.
For on Sunday 13th August a group of students in brightly-coloured national costume from the Kingdomiser Mission Institute, a Christian Bible College in South Korea, are coming to tell their story in song and mime.
Koreans are renowned for their beautiful singing voices (in the way that the Welsh and Italians are in Europe) and all are welcome to what promises to be a fascinating event.
In the morning and evening the 30-strong group led by the much-respected Pastor Moses Lee will attend meetings of the Inverness Christian Fellowship, who are hosting the visit.
The afternoon event, which starts at 3pm, is to take place either in the grassed area between Craigton Avenue and Bridgeview Drive, or in the West Field – or Merkinch Community Centre, if wet.
