ALPHAPET’S NEW VET

Ronnie Souter who has recently taken over the Alphapet Veterinary surgery from Jim Mundell says he intends to carry on the tradition of good veterinary medicine and surgery combined with the friendly, informal atmosphere which clients have come to know and expect from the Carsegate Road practice.

Ronnie, originally from Fife, qualified from the Edinburgh Vet School in 1980 and has, since his graduation, worked in practices in both Scotland and England. He has worked with all species of domestic animals over the last 19 years and plans to start holding specialist clinics at the practice in the near future. Ronnie has a particular interest in reptiles and has himself owned a variety of snakes and lizards over the years. It is with this in mind that Ronnie plans to expand Alphapet’s services in order to cater for those who own exotic pets.

Another of Ronnie’s interests lies in complementary and alternative therapies, he believes in taking a holistic approach, blending the latest developments in veterinary science with natural remedies to ensure all pets get the best in prevention and treatment.
