GO West, young man, they used to say in America – and ours has! Off to pastures new to find love, fame and fortune in the land of opportunity is Chris Simpson, who has been IT Operations Officer at Merkinch Enterprise since April.
Chris (22), whose family lives at Loch Flemington outside Inverness, graduated from Robert Gordon's University, Aberdeen, with a BSc in Computer Science, and left for Michigan on 28 November to get married.

Not surprisingly considering his qualifications, Chris found his lady love Laura on the web two or three years ago. The couple have visited back and forth since and last year he spent three months in the US.
Though he has not yet landed a job in the US, his colleagues at Merkinch Enterprise have no doubt that he soon will. Go West, young man, with all our good wishes for the future.
