DISPENSING optician James Lees is the guest speaker at the December meeting of the British Diabetic Association's Inverness branch. The event, at 7.30pm in the Haughdale Hotel on Wednesday 6th, will also see the branch's Grand Christmas Raffle.

A RECENT incident in which a man approached two primary pupils on their way to school has prompted headmistress Mrs Sheena Morrison to remind all Merkinch youngsters of the rules to follow to keep children safe on their way to and from school.

THE October holiday playscheme at the Community Centre proved so successful that youngsters had to be turned away.
Already it has been decided to run another playscheme at Easter.
