DAVID Aldred came aboard Merkinch Enterprise on 29th September for a six-month stint under the New Deal scheme.

Originally from Eastbourne, the 18-year-old came to live in Easter Ross in January when his family moved North.

David claims to be unambitious, but he is enthusiastic about computing and enjoys a wide range of music, from rock to heavy metal. Another interest is trial-cycling on his mountain bike - when he can find the time. Commuting in from Nigg takes up much of his spare time!
