THE South Kessock youngsters who produce The Dolphin magazine hit the big time in December when a programme about them was broadcast on TV.
The intrepid seven who are officially known as the Youth Technnology Group – part of the South Kessock Community Safety Project – spent a day filming with a crew from Scottish Television back in mid-October.
The broadcast, which had a slot in the Scottish Action programme was broadcast on Grampian around 5.30 to 6pm.
Cheryl Macintosh, one of the magazine’s original founding supervisors told News & Views: “They did really well. The music in the programme was good too – STV did a really good job.”
The magazine, which is produced every six weeks or so, has been on the go for two years now.
Editor Graham Lawson and his team – Natasha Macdonald, Emma McPhee, Leanne Stewart, Lynsey Macdonald, Reo Shields and Wayne Ridgers – are currently working on their special Millennium issue which is expected out soon. Well done, says News & Views!
