THE community training premises at No6 Grant Street have been refurbished by Merkinch Enterprise in time for the new series of millennium courses.

The new-look accommodation is now decorated in a sunny yellow with deep pink window blinds and new carpeting – and the computers have been upgraded too.

The refurbished training premises saw a new round of Information Technology courses start on 17 January – courses that are vital in the age of IT. Dozens of local people have come through our doors over the years to avail themselves of the various training courses that are free to folk from the Merkinch area, thanks to funding from the European Social Fund and support from Inverness & Nairn Enterprise.
