The High Flyers have come home the winners! At the prestigious event at Glasgow Thistle Hotel in December, the High Flyers certainly showed the rest of them just how to do it, bringing home silver, gold, cups, shields and medals.

Plans are afoot to develop the site of the old granary and Thornbush House into a Christian children’s, youth and community centre. Behind the move is Howard David of Craigton Avenue and the Millennium Trust which is currently trying to raise the money to buy the buildings.

Seats on local buses which are specially designated for pensioners are being occupied by “anyone and everyone” according to the Highland Citizens Network. So, hands off their seats folks!
