THE new part-time youth worker appointed to the Merkinch Social Inclusion Programme has been named as Gill Maclennan.

An Inverness woman, Gill will be taking up her new position on 28 February.

SIP’s manager Ivor Souter hopes that they will soon be able to move into new premises in Grant Street formerly occupied by the laundrette, which flitted to Burnett Road, near the new police station, on 22 January.
