Bingo Aid

On Thursday 7th December, Inverness Women's Aid held a fund-raising Bingo Evening at the Clach Club. It immediately became obvious to the professionals at the Clach Club that they were dealing with a bunch of amateurs when it came to organising a bingo session. But this was no problem to Peter Corbett and his many helpers who came to our rescue and ran the evening without a hitch. What a relief for us!

We were really staggered by the many donations of gifts, raffle prizes, sandwiches and home baking we received from the Merkinch community.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Peter, the two lady bingo callers, kitchen and bar staff and, of course, all who came to support us. Your generosity was greatly appreciated. The evening raised over Ł400 and we look forward to doing it again soon.
