THE Early Bird Breakfast Club continues to be held in the Merkinch Community Centre from 7.30 to 9am during term time. Included in the menu are: a wide range of cereals, including Readybrek; hot drinks, including hot chocolate; fresh fruit; toast and a variety of spreads. After eating the youngsters are encouraged to brush their teeth, and they have their own toothbrushes. The children can also enjoy various activities before leaving for school, e.g. drawing, jigsaws, music, space-hoppers. All children living in the Merkinch Community are welcome to come along.
