IT being February, a highlight of the Friendship Club programme is bound to be the Valentine Dinner on the 14th. The evening starts at 6.30pm and music will be provided by Tin Pan Alley (in romantic vein, presumably!) Elsie suggests that everyone try to wear something black and red, just to set the mood for the event.

Other topics on the February programme include: 6th - Countdown; 13th - the ever-popular bingo; 20th - a sing-song; and on the 27th the Provost of Inverness, William Smith, will visit the club.

Last month the programme included some reminiscing about the festive season, bingo, a Burns session with poetry, song and a Scottish quiz, and on the 30th Dennis Mackay spoke on energy conservation.
