Lots to do for young and young-at-heart

THE Active Adults group at Merkinch Community Centre didn’t quite make it three-in-a-row at the quarterly Rollerbowl contest between all the Inverness over-50s. Nothing daunted they ended January with a practice session on the 29th, determined to do their best at the spring match. The group’s February programme includes: 5th - drumming workshop; 12th - Line dancing; 19th - an outing to Moniack Wineries is planned; 26th - darts and dominoes.

BOYS who are looking for something to do on a Friday evening should drop in at the Trinity Church hall where the Boys Brigade meet. There are sessions for P1, 2 and 3 from 6.15 to 7.30pm, for P4,5 and 6 from 6.30 to 8pm and for P7 ONLY from 7.30 to 10pm. Cost is 30p per session for all age groups.
