INVERNESS High is thought to be the first school in the North of Scotland to display top quality Scottish paintings on its corridor walls.
Last term parents visiting the school on Parents’ Evenings had the opportunity to appreciate the work of Sandy Moffat, Sylvia Wishart, and other well-known Scots artists which their children see around them every day.
The paintings are from the Scottish Art Council’s collection, and it is the SAC policy to put work on display outwith Edinburgh and Glasgow.
