MEMBERS of the Merkinch Friendship Club, who lunch together in the Community Centre every Wednesday, are going for a night out this month to Scottish Showtime. The date is still to be confirmed, so those interested keep in touch or ring Elsie Normington at the Centre on 239563. One of the highlights of the June programme of lunchtime events was the exercise session with Andy from Jammin’ Fitness in Telford Road. Elsie is currently evaluating the lunchtime entertainment programme so a preview of what will be on in July was not available when we went to press.
