THE pilot scheme to run an Early Birds Breakfast Club in Merkinch has met with so much success that it seems likely to go ahead on a regular basis.

Over 50 youngsters were regularly attending, getting a good breakfast, exercise and teeth-cleaning every morning before school.

The club closed on 26th June as it started, with a visit by players from Caley and Clach football clubs.
