SIGNS identifying the new SIP’s premises at 33 Grant Street (the purple place next to the car park) were set to go up as we went to press. mp33, as it is called, is open 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30-4pm on weekdays. It is a source of advice and help for young people in Merkinch; for instance, if you want help with form-filling or more info on Sure Start, there will be someone there to lend a hand. And on Tuesday afternoons you will find Linda Lockwood, the Housing department’s youth officer on hand for free assistance and advice.
