THE Mitchell brothers were making their sad farewells recently – no, not Eastenders Grant and Phil, but Fliperz regulars Andrew (left) and Kevin from Craigton Avenue. Now that they have reached the grand old age of 12 the identical twins are over the limit for the after-school club, which they have been attending for the last four and a half years. But it is not the end of the Mitchell family’s presence at the Merkinch facility; wee brother George will still be attending.

We asked the pair what they wanted to do in life now that they had been “released” from Fliperz? Once we got past bank-robbing as a possible option, they admitted they didn’t know, but Andrew professed an interest in football, while Kevin was more into swimming.
