AN interesting and varied programme of activities is planned for Fliperz throughout the summer period.

The first two weeks, 2nd - 13th July have a circus theme which will include a trip to the library and involve craft skills.

The next two weeks 16th - 27th July explores a seaside theme. On the 16th a trip to Nairn swimming pool followed by an expedition beach-combing on Nairn beach.

The third fortnight (30th July - 10th August) sees a wildlife theme. This will include a trip to the wildlife park on 6th August. And the final week of the school holidays (13th-17th August) is unplanned as yet, but will certainly involve a trip on the Monday.

The cost of outings is £1.50 per child towards the cost of the bus plus any entry fee.
Denise Mudge, the Childcare Manager at Fliperz, says that although this is the framework of activities over the summer, there will be days when the weather and the children’s wishes prompt a spontaneous outing.

Parents please remember, children must have sun cream on or with them on warm days, a light jacket is necessary, soft shoes for inside play, a packed lunch if all-day care is required, and places may be limited on outings - see staff for details.
