A RECENT meeting of Carse Residents & Tenants Association proved a controversial one, if not an actual shambles, with two members walking out and an office-bearer being reprimanded for his behaviour.

The meeting started without anyone in the chair, there being some reluctance to take over the position. But in the course of proceedings Fran Bowyer was elected chairwoman She told News & Views, “There were a number of issues which needed to be resolved, but they couldn’t be taken forward without someone in the chair to conduct business.
“Once we had someone in the chair, things were conducted in a normal fashion.”
