THE Community House in Craigton Avenue and the South Kessock show house are to hold an Open Day on Friday 9th August.

The Community House, which underwent a total refurbishment over the winter, accommodates housing, police, health and other services for South Kessock and the rest of Merkinch.

In the show house, which aims to attract more tenants to the area by displaying what can be done with the properties, the electrics and decorating had been completed when we went to press, and the carpeting and furnishing was all that remained to be done.

South Kessock Residents Association are hoping to organise various fun aspects to the Open Day, including a barbecue, bouncy castle, a beat-the-goalie competition, and a police Crime Awareness van.
