HELP! Merkinch Community Centre’s Playscheme is in peril because of lack of parents and other interested people prepared to help look after the youngsters. The Playscheme runs in the afternoon during the school holidays, giving children a varied programme of activities to stimulate them and keep them from being bored. Qualified staff are in charge, but helpers are needed and training is given. Anyone who can spare even an odd afternoon is welcome. For details contact the Centre on 239563.
