NIP IN, to the NIP INN

Grant Street regulars could not fail to notice that work is in progress on the newest Merkinch drinking establishment - The Nip Inn. Work is near completion with Mr. Thompson hoping to open early in August. Mr. Thompson already runs Gunsmiths (Union Street), The Keg (Baron Taylors Lane) & Blacksmiths (Culloden).

The style of Blacksmiths is very much community orientated. This Mr. Thompson believes is the secret of it's success and hopes to recreate the same atmosphere amongst the Merkinch locals. The Nip Inn will include a varied selection of popular beers and lagers, toasties, pies & other bar snacks, televised sport with promotions for all the big games. With sport in mind Mr. Thompson urges all those wishing to get a Pub team together, be it darts, dominoes or football to pop in and see him as sponsorship will become available when enough interest is shown.
