WORLD Ocean Day is on Sunday 4 June, and to celebrate it a sponsored walk is being held. Starting 10am, the Walk for Whales and Dolphins 2000 will go along the shore from the Dolphin Centre at North Kessock two and a half miles to the Anchor and Chain at Coulmore and back.

“The idea is that quite young children will be able to take part,” said Charlie Phillips, North of Scotland representative of the Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society.
