CALLING all Merkinch girls who would be Queen for a day. This year's Merkinch Gala Queen and her attendants are to be chosen at a disco on Friday 16 June at the Community Centre.

Gala Day will be 8 July, and the Queen will be chosen from S1 and S2 girls, while her attendants will come from P5 to P7. Youngsters from Primary 1 to Secondary 2 are welcome to come to the disco: the cost is £1 and the fun starts at 7pm. So come on gals and guys, and make it a great night!
