MONDAY 18th June sees the opening of the long-awaited new doctors’ surgery in custom-built premises in Abban Street. Doctors Martin, Ross and Malone have made the short hop across Kenneth Street from Fairfield Road and will now be that bit closer to Merkinch folk.
As usual surgery hours will be from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9-11.30am Saturdays. The number to ring for appointments remains 713939, but there will be another (not yet known) for repeat prescriptions, which will be open 9.30-11.30am and 2.30-4.30pm.
