Community Centre seeks more members

The Association’s principal objectives are “to promote the well-being and benefit of the residents of Merkinch… to advance education and to provide facilities... for recreation and leisure with the object of improving the conditions and quality of life.”

Besides the Breakfast and After-School Clubs, plus various youth clubs, Mothers & Toddlers, Friendship Lunch Club and Active Adults, the Centre has Line Dancing (Mondays) and Tap Dancing classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays), not to mention Ladies Badminton (Mondays), Singing for Pleasure (Tuesdays), Highland Dancing (Thursdays), Indoor Bowling (Thursdays) and Christian Fellowship (Sundays).
