MERKINCH Enterprise was well represented at last month’s “Give it a Go!” learning event at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Church Street.

Over six hours there was a series of free demonstrations, and lots of helpful advice on a range of topics from computers to joinery and head massage to the fine arts.
The demonstrations also included cake decorating and there were health, beauty and relaxation sessions in Reiki, Reflexology, Beauty and Make-Up… and body treatments for men.

Fliperz ran the free children’s play area and juggling, face painting and Bubbles the Clown added to the fun.

Guest star was Janice Rankin, the Olympic Curling Gold Medal winner who dropped in to show her medal and sign autographs. Pictured is Training Officer Gordon Nairne (centre) and behind him Ian Street, recently appointed Training & Development Officer.
