WRITER Angus Dunn and artists Steph Masterson and Scott Henriksen - from art.tm - recently visited P6 at Merkinch Primary School for a creative session. When News & Views dropped in there was an air of great concentration as Miss Hayley Walsh’s 25 pupils did their best to express what they felt about the subject of boats in words and pictures. The resulting works were displayed on the lamp posts on Bank Street during the Highland Festival. Footnote: The name of the colourful boat (pictured right) is “Titanic”!
