INTERNATIONAL marine equipment specialist Gael Force Marine is planning a major expansion.
The Anderson Street-based company is to invest £3 million in a chain of Marine Mega-stores which will introduce DIY-type merchandising to the sector. Two will open next year - one of them in Scotland - followed by another seven in the following two years.

Commercial and leisure craft owners have access to GFM’s services through a 630-page catalogue. So successful has the company been since it opened last August that double the forecast level of sales have been achieved.
The 35,000 square foot premises at Inverness will remain the firm’s headquarters.
