Hi there!
Plans are well in hand for an interesting series of activities and outings over the summer.
Recently interviews were held for another full-time member of staff at mp33 to help with the Summer Programme, and he/she should be in post soon.
The general pattern will be the same as last year, with trips organised for Tuesdays and Thursdays - everything from fishing to shopping, whatever.
We hope to make more use of the West Field, holding a range of games there when the weather is good.
We may even organise a couple of major expeditions, making overnight stays at a bothy in the hills.
We’ll have more details nearer the time - so if you want to make sure you don’t miss out, keep in touch with us at 33 Grant Street. And why not drop in any time to see what’s doing at any time - not only the Summer Programme.
See you soon…

TASTER sessions in a range of Keep Fit activities for 17-25s having been proving popular, with participants trying out Tai Chi with Russell, and Dance Aerobic Funk with Cheryl. Pictured here are some of those who took part in the Body Combat session with Riccardo (right). The idea is that after the taster sessions, those who took part can choose which discipline they can have a six-week course in and when the best time to hold such a course would be.

IS that or is that not a good dragon?
Thank Fun It’s Friday sessions on various crafts have continued following the success of the subject at the recent Fun Day.
Among the skills tackled covered are stencilling and painting.
ONCE there was an Elephant and a Cat. One of the things Cat hated most was when Elephant stood on rocks. When Elephant stood on a rock and Cat fell off it, Cat cried out: “Watch it! You nearly stood on me.”
“Me stand on you? You jumped off, so there. You can go that way because I’m going this way.”
“Good,” said Cat.
“Fine,” said Elephant.
Cat climbed up a tree and Elephant bumped into it. Cat fell out of the tree.
“You’re back!” said Elephant.
“No, I’m not,” replied Cat.
“Oh yes you are. If you’re not, why are you on my back?”
“I’m on your back because you banged into the tree, OK? So goodbye,” said Cat - and went for good.
