PEOPLE often ask us at Merkinch Enterprise: “Whatever happened to the list of council house exchanges you used to have in your window?” The short answer is that the housing department wasn’t sending them to us! Asked why, the only explanation we could get was that it was no longer policy, and they weren’t advertising exchanges in the local papers either. However, we are delighted to say that out of the blue, a list has appeared, and it is now available to view at No 4 Grant Street.
