MARCH 13th has been designated No Smoking Day and those over 18 years of age who decide to give up and stick to it for a month could win themselves a prize. Would be quitters need a supporter (for whom there is also a prize if you win) and a witness. Entry forms are available from some chemists or on the net at www.nosmokingday.org.uk and these must be in by 15th March. Regional prizes are £1000 and UK winner £5000.
