ALTHOUGH it is nearly two years since Steve Bell left Merkinch Enterprise staff, people still come in and ask for “the one with the beard”. His many friends will be interested to hear then that Steve is off to Scalloway in the Shetlands to drive buses. Originally from Southampton, Steve came to Merkinch Enterprise in 1994 as a trainee and lived for a while in South Kessock. He left ME to return to bus driving, and when he was sent as relief driver to Shetland in November last year, he so liked the place he decided to stay. Good luck, Steve!
