HIGHLAND Health Board have confirmed a group of Inverness GP’s are investigating the possibility of moving into a site in Merkinch.

The news came to light after Albyn Housing Association mentioned in a local newspaper, they were talking about developing a site in Abban Street with a group of doctors.

The Housing Assocation is having to look at its plans again because the Inverness Area Planning Committee of Highland Council refused their application.

It’s thought the refusal of planning permission for that construction does not affect the GP’s plans.
