It's not an unusual sight in Merkinch, to see a car rapidly deteriorating, day by day. But these lads are all perfectly legally occupied learning what's under the bonnet (what bonnet?) as part of the 30-hour First Gear driving programme run for 15-17 year olds by Gill Maclennan (right) of SIPs. The course involved practical off-road driving and good driving attitudes as well as the skilful dismemberment of this elderly Montego!
