Stars of the show come and go - but where would they be without the backstage crew that makes it all happen! These Merkinch youngsters organised a talent contest at Trinity Church Hall during the school holidays and raised a splendid £60 for Children 1st - it’s their second fund-raiser this year for the charity, formerly the RSSPCC. Pictured from left are: Lana Waugh and Jennifer Hughes (both 12), Stacey Allen (13) and Margaret Wright (14). In fact some of them also took part and showed their talents were not limited to management: Margaret and Lana, along with Stacey Milson - all singers - were voted the winners on the night.
