MERKINCH Arms could be reopening before Christmas. According to the Glasgow agents who are handling the sales of the Grant Street pub, closure on a sale is expected very soon, though no details are forthcoming as to the new owner. It is a year on 9th November since the doors of the Merkinch Arms closed.
THINGS are fairly changing round in South Kessock thanks to the numerous initiatives being carried out - it is understood that for the first time in many years there is a waiting list for houses.
