MERKINCH Active Adults Club has scunnered the opposition once again by winning the inter-club Ten-pin Bowling Trophy which is contested quarterly by Inverness Over-50s clubs. In their first outing in June they amazed the more experienced opposition when they won with just four newcomers to the sport. So to win it for a second time in September was a doubly sweet victory for the team. We would have pictured the glorious winners - but they were off to Rollerbowl practising!
