THE Active Adults group held a sale of bric-a-brac and a raffle at the Community Centre on 29th and 30th October in order to raise funds for their annual outing to the panto.

LACK of transport is no excuse for not coming along to the Friendship Club for the over-60s at lunchtime on Wednesdays. If you live in the Merkinch area someone will pick you up and deliver you home again afterwards if need be. Contact Elsie at the Community Centre on 239563.
Alan Hawthorne of Arthritis Care is the speaker on 6th November, with Bingo on the 13th and Fiona Munro of Community Care Forum discussing Carers’ Rights on the 20th. The following week there will be darts and dominoes.

JOSEPH and the Technicolor Dreamcoat was the theme at one of the recent get-togethers of the Singing for Pleasure group who meet at the Centre on Tuesday evenings. For those nervous of going out on winter nights, car sharing could be organised.
