mp33 damaged in flooding incident

Ceiling at mp33

Still smiling in the face of adversity - Roni, left, and Julie inspect the flooded out ceiling of mp33.

RONI Smith and Julie Ferguson got quite a fright when they arrived at work at mp33 on Thursday 25th October. For in the night a leak had developed in an empty flat two floors up and the water was lying on their ceiling and dripping from the lights. Computers had to be hurriedly removed and stored securely elsewhere, to allow the soaked, badly stained ceiling of the main room to be demolished.

The work to replace the ceiling is likely to take around two weeks, and in the meantime the mp33 team have decamped to the Community House at Craigton Avenue. “I just feel sorry for the people in the flat above - they are on holiday somewhere in the eastern Mediterranean and don’t know their home is totally ruined,” said Roni.
Roni and the rest of the mp33 team can still be reached at Craigton Avenue on the same phone number, 717639.
