MERKINCH wheelchair athlete and dancer Uisdean MacRae was a member of the Highland Fliers wheelchair dancing team which recently distinguished themselves at the international championships in Blackpool. The 13-strong team collected 16 gold medals, two silver and three bronze medals as well as six trophies.
Uisdean is pictured with his trophy and the two gold medals he won for disco dancing and for teamwork. It’s the first time he has won the disco event. Well done!
