THE Merkinch Community House in Craigton Avenue, South Kessock, has re-opened after the long-awaited major refurbishment that has seen it closed for much of the year.
Now housing, police and health authorities all have accommodation under the one roof, along with the South Kessock Residents Association (tel 718912) and Merkinch Tool Club.
Manning the front desk and phones (718848) is Ann Fraser, the administration officer. On board are Housing officer Paul Neville and the Housing Maintenance officer Paul Higham along with the Young Tenants Support Worker Linda Lockwood.
The police also have a base here, including the two local Community Beat Officers Alastair Stewart and Norman Campbell.
