THE October holiday Playscheme at Merkinch Community Centre, to be run from 1-4pm from 15th October, is looking for volunteers to help - even if it’s only for an hour now and again. Ring 239563 if you can help.

The Centre’s Mother & Toddler Group, which meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings is on the look-out for toys. If you can help drop in and see Susanne or Candy on those mornings.

Merkinch Community Centre’s management committee want to thank the various organisations and individuals who supported the highly successful Fun Day at the end of August.
Thanks also to all those members of the public who came along and helped raise a total of £950. This sum does not include the stalls run by the Centre’s various clubs.
