FEEL your confidence could do with a bit of a boost? Then classes run by the Workers Educational Association could be just the thing for you. Starting 2nd October, WEA is running a series of eight sessions between 10 and 12 noon (though not during the October school holidays) at Merkinch Community Centre. Topics covered will include assertiveness, confidence-building, alternative health, community issues, stress and relaxation, presenting yourself positively and so forth. The cost is 70p per week or free to those on benefit and there is a creche for pre-school children.
