THE annual general meeting of Merkinch Community Centre is to be held in the Centre on Thursday 23rd October. Nominations for directors were due to be in by 26th September. There are places for eight representatives from user groups. The AGM is open to the public. It is hoped that Douglas Wilby of the Highland Council Community Learning and Leisure department will be present to answer Merkinchers questions about the future of the Community Centre.
